- Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
- Inpatient / Outpatient Responsibilities : Outpatient only
- Call Ratio : Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites
- Daily Patient Census : 18 patients per day
- Equipment / Resources : Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources
- Provider Support : Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Primary Responsibilities :
Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatmentRecommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose conditionMonitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicitiesPrescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injuryExplain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patientRefers patients to medical specialists when necessaryRepresents the practice at Hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the groupCollaborate and manage APPsMD or DO degreeBoard-certified in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineLicensed to practice medicine in the state of CaliforniaProven experience in a primary care settingExcellent diagnostic and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentCompensation and perks :
