Diesel Mechanic

We are a growing trucking company operating a fleet of 50 trucks and 150 trailers. Our team is dedicated to safety, reliability, and keeping our equipment in top condition. We are looking for a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team and help keep our fleet running at peak performance.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on diesel trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
• Service trailers including suspension, tires, brakes, and lighting systems.
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and completed work.
• Respond to roadside breakdowns when necessary.
• Keep the shop area clean, organized, and safe.

We are looking for a full-time fleet Diesel Mechanic to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, in our shop. Hiring for 1st shift 7 : 00 a.m.-3 : 30 p.m., 2nd shift 12 : 30 p.m.-9 : 00 p.m. wages ranging from $28-$38 an hourly rate.

• Qualified Candidate should have experience with the following :
• Qualifications :
• 1+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic (fleet maintenance experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, truck and trailer systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals and use computerized diagnostic equipment.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Own tools preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
