We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Foundations and Utilities Superintendent to join a leading Company located in the O'ahu, HI surrounding area.

As a Superintendent for Foundations and Utilities, you will lead day-to-day field operations on deep foundations, underground utilities, and heavy concrete scopes. You will oversee craft labor and subcontractors, ensure strict safety compliance, and drive productivity in coordination with engineers, QC staff, and representatives.
Job Responsibilities :
Field Leadership :
Direct crews and subcontractors on pile driving, drilled shafts, shoring, excavation, dewatering, and utility installations (water, sewer, storm, electrical, fuel).Oversee heavy concrete placement, rebar, and formwork operations.Sequence work to align with critical path schedules.Safety and Compliance :
Lead site safety under OSHA, NAVFAC, and EM 385-1-1 standards.Implement and enforce the three-phase QC process.Conduct toolbox talks and hazard analyses, maintaining a strong safety culture.Production and Scheduling :
Track production, labor, equipment, and budgets; identify variances and adjust.Maintain Primavera P6 / MS Project schedules, coordinating foundations / utilities with other scopes.Ensure proper use of materials and heavy equipment.Stakeholder Coordination :
Communicate with Navy inspectors, consultants, project engineers, and JV leadership.Provide work plans, daily reports, and close-out documentation.Resolve field challenges quickly and professionally.Basic Hiring Criteria :
10+ years of construction experience, with 5+ years as a Superintendent in heavy civil, utilities, or foundations.Proven record of delivering deep foundations, utilities, and large concrete scopes on major projects.Experience with NAVFAC, USACE, or federal / high-security facilities strongly preferred.In-depth knowledge of EM 385-1-1 safety standards and QC documentation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Primavera P6 scheduling experience preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage diverse crews / subs.Benefits offered vary by contract.
