Moorings Park is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for training and working with staff according to established policies and procedures, assuring that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained throughout the facility.

Contributions :

Orient new employees to perform his / her duties as outlined in their job description according to established policies and procedures.

• Conducts supervision, inspections and schedules the work of department staff to ensure that the highest standards are met.
• Assures schedules are completed on a daily basis throughout the facility.
• Assists the Director of Housekeeping answering resident calls and dealing with schedule changes, problems or complaints within area of responsibility.
• Controls and maintains an adequate level of supplies.
• Maintains a good working rapport with all departments to ensure that housekeeping programs can be properly planned and maintained to meet the needs of the facility
• Performs quality assurance checks in common spaces, residents’ apartments and other assigned areas.
• Assists with assigning work orders through the building management system.
• Liaisons between resident and housekeeper to assist with the translation of cleaning needs to maximize customer and resident satisfaction.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
