Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer - Medical AI Platform

Location : Hybrid - Miami

Compensation : $200,000 – $250,000

We are the world’s leading AI medical information platform , featured by the New England Journal of Medicine and trusted by medical professionals at over 10,000 care centers worldwide . Our mission-critical platform provides accurate, cited, and grounded answers at the point of care. Backed by investors including Sequoia Capital and Mayo Clinic , we are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer to build the highly reliable and secure backbone for our medical AI platform.

Joining our Core Engineering team, you will have exceptional technical scope and direct impact, translating business objectives into elegant, scalable technical solutions. This is a hybrid role for a backend expert who thrives in a focused startup environment, owning key infrastructure and driving initiatives across reliability, data, and security, specifically handling sensitive medical data at scale.

Responsibilities :

• Service Ownership : Design, implement, and operate new backend services and APIs, taking full ownership of key backend production services.
• DevOps & Automation : Develop and troubleshoot robust CI / CD pipelines and utilize IaC tooling (e.g., Terraform) to manage and scale infrastructure.
• System Optimization : Maintain and optimize key backend resources, including databases, caches, and load balancers, focusing on performance and site reliability .
• Data Integrity & Security : Contribute to the design of infrastructure and data pipelines that handle sensitive medical data at scale , ensuring compliance and reliability.
• On-Call & Collaboration : Participate in on-call escalation (daylight hours only, about one week per month) and coordinate closely with ML engineers, product designers, and fellow software engineers to execute platform requirements.
