Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.

The role requires providing care for patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.

You will assist with both high-risk and routine deliveries.

Responsibilities include monitoring fetal heart rates, performing assessments, and managing emergencies.

Skills in administering medications and IV therapy are essential.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

The unit typically sees a daily census of 10 patients and maintains a patient ratio of 2 : 1 during the night shift.

You will be expected to participate in weekend coverage every other weekend.

Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols are critical.

Candidates should possess strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Experience in high-volume birth settings is preferred.

Commitment to professional development and ongoing education is required.
