DESCRIPTION OF WORK
A County Social Services Aide 1 assists the caseworker with managing the tasks involved in their caseload. This includes assisting with supervision of visitations, attending Child Advocacy Center (CAC) interviews and assisting caseworkers with complete and timely documentation in the case management system. You will have the opportunity to assist families with activities of daily living including but not limited to home maintenance and care, in-home parenting education, proper hygiene, nutrition, cooking / food shopping skills and maintenance of the home. Your duties may include transporting consumers to supervised visitation and necessary appointments as well as providing childcare when needed.
