Position Overview (Business Development / Sales)
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-oriented Director of Sales (or Sales Executive) to lead and expand our commercial footprint. This role will drive revenue growth by building and managing relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare partners, positioning the company as a trusted and innovative partner in HUB, specialty pharmacy, and patient services.
As a key member of the commerical team, you will craft commercial strategies, inspire your sales team (if applicable), and execute business development initiatives that fuel company growth while enhancing the patient journey.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers, health systems, and specialty providers.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, driving revenue growth across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set revenue targets, sales objectives, and go-to-market plans.
Relationship Management & Business Development
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, decision-makers, and industry influencers.Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering innovative solutions that improve patient access, adherence, and outcomes.Lead complex negotiations and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.Team Leadership & Collaboration
Recruit, mentor, and inspire high-performing sales professionals (if team size warrants).Partner closely with Marketing, Client Services, and Operations to align sales efforts with company strategy and client needs.Act as a visible leader, championing company culture and values across the commercial team.Market Intelligence & Thought Leadership
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to guide strategic decisions.Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings as a credible and knowledgeable expert.Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field (MBA preferred).7+ years of progressive sales experience in specialty pharmacy, HUB services, patient services, or healthcare solutions.Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B, commercial, or pharma services environment.Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotech, and patient support landscape.Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to execute in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.Passion for healthcare innovation and improving patient access and outcomes.Why You’ll Love This Role
