Senior Risk Analyst Gas & Power

Our client is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst with experience in natural gas and power within a power generation environment. This role will support risk management by developing models validating valuations monitoring portfolios and ensuring compliance with policies and controls.

Must be able to work downtown in office daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and review risk models and reports for trading strategies and portfolios.
• Validate market valuations for new and existing deals.
• Monitor portfolio exposure and provide regular commentary on activity utilization and liquidity.
• Ensure adherence to risk policies and support compliance / audit reviews.
• Collaborate with traders originators finance and IT to explain risk factors and improve risk systems.

Qualifications

Per our clients specifications candidates are required to be US Citizens Green Card holders or independently authorized to work in the US . Our client is unable to provide H1 visa sponsorship at this time.
