Mammography Tech - (Mam - Mammo Tech)

Mammo Tech needed for Women's clinic in the greater Denver area! Full time contract available
Required Qualifications
Mammography Technologist, Mammography
Experience : 2 years
Certifications : BLS-AHA; M-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; CERT-Diploma / Degree-Associate
Float : yes nearby clinics in same area
References : 1 Reference in entire work history
- Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Mammography certification required
- Must meet ARRT(R)(M) requirements for exam counts and CEUs.
- 2 - 3 years of mammography experience is preferred.
- Ability to accurately position the patient for imaging according to ACR standards.
- Utilize techniques to physically manipulate and apply accessories to produce desired images.
- Ability to select technical factors and operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images.
- Must have at least one year of experience with both screening and diagnostic mammography.
- Basic computer literacy and applications for data entry and records maintenance.
- Maintain BLS certification.
- Strong organizational skills; must be able to manage and prioritize multiple workstreams and patient interactions simultaneously.
- Exhibit behavior which emphasizes quality, conscientiousness, and professionalism.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift 20 lbs throughout the day.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients and team members in a professional and caring manner.
