ICU RN Travel Job Details Location : Utica, NY 13502 (Central New York healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 1 / 5 / 2026 - End : 4 / 5 / 2026) Setting : Critical Care Float Pool (42-bed unit) Shift : 12-hour days (6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990-$2130 Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site Scrub Color : Navy Blue EMR : Epic ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active New York RN license (required for New York nursing jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (required for ICU RN jobs) Experience with specialty equipment : IABP, CRRT, Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM preferred Ability to float to various units (excluding Psych and ED, unless managing holds) Comfortable with Med-Surg assignments (up to 6-7 patients) Proficiency with Epic EMR ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU, CTICU, Trauma, and Med-Surg units Float between multiple critical care units as needed Manage diverse patient diagnoses : stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, post-surgical, trauma, neuro interventions Operate and monitor advanced ICU equipment Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and changing patient needs Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel ICU Registered Nurse in Utica, NY, and take the next step in your critical care nursing career!
