Salary : $115,000 - $160,000 per year

A bit about us :

This company is a healthcare technology start up that is focused on modernizing their codebase and technical team over the coming year. This role will be one of their first internal hires tasked with eliminating tech debt from off shore resources and positioning the product in a way it can scale. This engineer will focus on legacy code modernization and tech debt clean up for the first few months and then transition into a key part of growing the team, scaling the technical operations, and subsequently creating new features and added functionality.

This role will have a passive on call rotation as you are an early hire on their internal team. This will not include night time hours as they already have a team tasked with that. They run "follow the sun" rotation schedule.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in the healthcare industry. This is a permanent role where you will be at the forefront of driving innovation and improving the healthcare experience for thousands of patients. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that will revolutionize the healthcare industry. Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications and platforms that support the needs of our healthcare clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Utilize AWS cloud services to design software solutions and leverage NoSQL and non-relational databases to manage and organize data.
• Use your JavaScript and Typescript skills to develop and implement robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Use Git for version control and regularly check-in code.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance.
• Work in a fast-paced, start-up environment where you will have the autonomy to innovate and implement your ideas.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
