Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Maryland

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in Maryland starting Nov 1, 2025. This opportunity is for a 102-day contract with primarily night and occasional 24-hour in-house shifts. The role involves hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology coverage, with a flexible schedule of 10-15 shifts per month. Job Details Location : Maryland Start Date : Nov 1, 2025 LOA : 102 days Provider Type Needed : Obstetrician / Gynecologist Schedule : 12-hour in-house shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 7a-7a); primarily nights, but 24-hour shifts accommodated; 10-15 shifts / month; some day shifts available (no day-only submissions) EMR : Cerner Responsibilities and Duties Provide in-house obstetrics and gynecology coverage for hospital patients Manage labor and delivery, including assessment and intervention Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures as needed Respond to emergent OB / GYN cases during assigned shifts Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document patient care and procedures in Cerner EMR Additional Information Active Maryland medical license required Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Background in hospital-based OB / GYN preferred Credentialing can be completed in 30-45 days Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
