Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Fargo, ND (zip 58102) – North Dakota nursing jobs Healthcare Setting : Acute care, 2W Med / Surg Unit (10 beds) Assignment Duration : 13-week travel nursing contract (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025, End : 3 / 16 / 2026) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Shift : 12-hour night shifts; every other weekend and holiday Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 6 : 1 night shift Employment Type : Travel nursing job Estimated Weekly Salary : $2050-$2200 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience in a hospital with 250 beds and Level 2 or higher trauma center Active Registered Nurse license in North Dakota or compact state (or willingness to obtain) BLS certification (AHA required) Proficiency with Epic EMR Ability to float to other Med / Surg units across Fargo healthcare campuses Must wear navy blue scrubs Cannot reside within 60 miles of the facility Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to general Med / Surg patients in an acute care setting Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Demonstrate clinical competency and utilize age / population-specific nursing standards Operate unit equipment including Epic EMR, AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, and Telemetry Float to other Med / Surg units as needed to support patient care across Fargo hospital campuses Badge in and out at the facility for each shift Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
