Are you looking for a tight, family friendly MSP that believes every organization deserves the very best? Think Technologies Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join the Managed Services team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability, security, and optimization of our clients' IT infrastructure. You will serve as an escalation point for our service desk, providing expert technical support and resolving complex issues that require advanced troubleshooting skills. This is a hybrid opportunity located in West Palm Beach, Florida .

What You'll Do :

Travel to client sites in Martin, Palm Beach, and Broward Counties with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for diverse client environments

Act as an escalation point for the service desk, resolving complex issues and mentoring junior engineers

Proactively monitor client systems to ensure optimal performance and security

Design, implement, and manage IT solutions, including network infrastructure, virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V), Windows Server, and SQL Server

Develop and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures

Automate tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to improve efficiency

Collaborate with engineers and departments to ensure seamless service delivery and process improvements

Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and stay updated on cybersecurity and Microsoft technologies

Ability to attend quarterly meetings at the main office in Ocala, Florida

Skills You'll Need :

5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in a managed services environment

Extensive experience with network infrastructure, including firewalls (WatchGuard preferred), routers, switches, and wireless technologies

Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and database management

Proven experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and task management

Experience with ConnectWise Automate, ConnectWise Manage, and Confluence is highly desirable

Ability to travel to the Ocala, Florida headquarters office on a quarterly basis
