Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Assignment Location : Duncan, OK 73533 (Southern Oklahoma) Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department (ED), Level II Trauma Center Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : October 22, 2025 End Date : January 21, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Patient Ratios : 1 : 2-4 Unit Size : 19 beds, 22 rooms Orientation : 12 hours Estimated Weekly Salary : $1400-$1500 ER RN Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience (travel nursing experience required) Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license (Oklahoma or compact state) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, ISTAT, ENPC Experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred Meditech charting experience preferred COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) First-time travel nurses not accepted ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED environment Manage patient ratios of 1 : 2-4, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics Perform triage, assessments, and interventions for trauma, stroke, cardiac, orthopedic, psychiatric, respiratory, and other emergencies Administer medications, IVs, blood products, and manage central and arterial lines Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and social services Float within scope as needed to support facility needs Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation Discover the charm of Duncan, Oklahoma—enjoy a friendly atmosphere, vibrant local culture, and convenient access to lakes, trails, and community events.
