The Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) is looking for a Finance Analyst to join the Finance department. The Finance Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and related financial systems. The Finance Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing general ledger activities, and preparing reconciliations.

This position is Full-Time - In Office in Sacramento, CA. However, the Agency operates on a 9-8-80 Work Schedule which provides work-life balance for all with every other Friday off!
The Finance Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing general ledger activities, and preparing reconciliations. This role is essential to our month-end and year-end close processes by collaborating with other Finance staff to provide reliable financial data that supports forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
Any combination of experience and education that would be likely to provide the required knowledge and abilities could be qualifying, as determined by the Agency. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be : Experience 2 - 3 years experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting; government or nonprofit experience strongly preferred Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Advanced degree or certification (CPA, CMA, CGFM, CFA) preferred Knowledge, skills and abilities :
