Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Ophthalmologist to work locum shifts in Houghton, Michigan (MI) Starting December, or as soon as credentialed, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. The Ophthalmology role : Location : Houghton, Michigan Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM Call : None Setting : Clinic and surgical procedures Preferred Schedule Structure : Two weeks on / two weeks off First week : surgeries and procedures Second week : follow-ups and post-op visits Supported by two highly efficient and knowledgeable MAs Required Skills & Experience Must be proficient in cataract surgery and intravitreal injections 12-14 procedures / surgeries per day Minimum of 4 clinic patients per hour EMR : EPIC REQUIRED : MI license active and unrestricted BC in Ophthalmology Benefits : Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered.
