HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Orange, California.

Unit Description

Location : Orange, CA

Unit Type : PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

Beds : 42

Patient Population : Neonates to Adolescents (Birth–18 years)

Common Diagnoses :

Metabolic, respiratory, endocrinology, oncology, neurosurgical, cardiac, and Level I trauma patients.

Special Procedures :

Conscious sedation, CRRT, ECMO

Staffing Ratios : Typically 1 : 1–1 : 2 depending on patient acuity

Systems Used :

Schedule : 12-hour shifts; float required (primarily to NICU & CVICU); every other weekend

Certifications Required : BLS, PALS, ACLS

Preferred : APHON, CPHON, NIHSS, NRP

Experience Requirements :

Key Skills :

Traveler Info : Must be seasoned travelers; first-time travelers not accepted.

Orientation : 1 shift on unit + hospital orientation

Scrubs : Provided
