Family Advocate

JCEO is a private, not-for-profit human service agency that serves the residents of Clinton and Franklin Counties in New York State. All programs are based on JCEO's mission to alleviate poverty through practical, timely, and innovative services that emphasize and develop problem-solving skills for people.

The Family Advocate makes home visits and assists clients and families by providing resources and making referrals.

Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Year Round

Location : On-Site- Champlain, NY and Cumberland Head, NY

Hourly Range of Pay : $16.82-19.08

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

At a minimum, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field within eighteen months of hire, or equivalent coursework (12 credit hours in the above-mentioned fields) as part of an associate's or bachelor's degree. Experience in the field preferred.
