The YMCA of Greater New York is seeking a Regional Training Manager for ASHI. The Regional Training Manager will work alongside branch leadership to facilitate ASHI training sessions for all department staff. They will manage the strategy, systems, organization, and effective facilitation of all ASHI training. Responsibilities include planning and implementing structured training methods across branches, ensuring high-quality facilitation, communication, and collaboration. The manager will also support branches with CPR / FA incidents, strengthen EAPs, and facilitate community training courses.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Facilitate ASHI trainings, including BLS, CPR, AED, First Aid, Wilderness, Pediatric First Aid, Epinephrine Auto Injector, Babysitting, etc., as applicable for branch staff regionally.
  • Manage administrative requirements such as certifications, progress monitoring, space, supplies, and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure training technology is available.
  • Maintain accurate records related to licensing and certifications.
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are safe, available, and inventory is maintained.
  • Maintain an ongoing training schedule for regional branches.
  • Manage budgets, revenue, and expenses related to training.
  • Create and facilitate community fee-based trainings, record data, and issue certifications.
  • Collect feedback on training sessions to improve quality.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as needed.
  • Support incident reviews related to CPR / FA and safety responses with branches.
  • Review and support branch EAPs concerning safety and CPR / FA response.

Desired Skills & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
  • At least 3 years of training experience in HSIBLS / CPR / First Aid / Wilderness or equivalent.
  • HSI BLS / CPR / First Aid / Wilderness certification required; cross-over to HSI within 90 days if equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
