As they navigate a period of operational transition, they are seeking a Interim Accounting Manager to take charge of their financial operations and serve as the primary authority on their ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central .

The Role : A Critical Leadership Position

This is not a typical interim role. You will be the go-to expert -and the only person in the organization with deep, working knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central. Your expertise will be essential to maintaining financial accuracy, guiding the team through system complexities, and ensuring the ERP is leveraged to its full potential.

You'll be stepping into a high-responsibility position where your decisions and insights will directly impact the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all daily accounting operations : general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations

Manage AP, AR, and payroll processes with precision

Prepare and validate financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Deliver actionable financial insights to leadership

Uphold and document internal controls

Act as the ERP system lead , supporting staff and the CFO in navigating and optimizing Dynamics 365 Business Central

Troubleshoot system issues and identify process improvements tied to the ERP

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (required)

Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards

Proven ability to work independently and lead through change
