Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Rapid City, SD .
  • The Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for performing high-quality service and repairs on automotive vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair processes, along with relevant professional certifications. Certification training for GM or Nissan will be provided and sponsored.

    • Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests and inspections on vehicles for repair and maintenance
  • Accurately identify, repair, and service vehicle systems and components
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding service findings and repair recommendations
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a productive and positive work environment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety regulations
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications for all repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Document all diagnostic findings, repairs, and maintenance in an accurate and timely manner

    • Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ASE certification in Automotive Technology preferred
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
