Lead Field Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Lead Field Service Technician for a direct hire role in Goldsboro NC.

The Lead Field Service Technician will be expected to travel throughout the USA. Field Service projects may include installations repair and maintenance of electrical components / power transformers. This role will provide on-site project support / execution and planning to Field Service crews.

Pay : $46-54 / h (depending on experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR LEAD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

• Must be able to drive company vehicle / equipment.
• Receive assignments and instructions from manager both oral and written.
• Read understand and follow guidelines set forth Company procedures and blueprints when performing assigned work.
• Lead other Field Service team members.
• Holding team accountable to project schedule execution
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical complex issues.
• Knowledge / troubleshooting experience of electrical testing / theory.
• Knowledge / troubleshooting experience of controls
• Knowledge / troubleshooting experience of oil processing
• Understand and interpret blueprints.
• Compose Field Reports (Daily Activity reports etc.) and any other job site customer specific reports to management / customer in a timely manner.
• Manage equipment maintenance on each job site.
• Manage job site safety.
• Conduct pre-job / post-job walks.
• Assist Service Work Planner with following on-site project management : budget scope of work schedule manpower task prioritization and multi-tasking.
