Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant / COTA

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Provide direct patient care and help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
• Conduct assessments and document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with the occupational therapist to develop individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications :

Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a valid license

Acute care experience is preferred but not required

Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Familiarity with occupational health practices and procedures

Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
