Job descriptionBachelor's degree in accounting / finance or related field and 2 years of accounting experience Master's degree in accounting or finance and 2 years of accounting experience Excel skills (ideally someone would say 4 / 10 or above if asked to rate their skills on a 1-10 scale) SAP experience is preferred Must be a U.S. Citizen Knowledge of general accounting such as accounting entries, reconciliations and analysis. Demonstration of effective communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions, high volume of activities and multiple demands and deadlines.
Talascend is currently seeking an Accounting Professional for a contract opportunity with our client in Indianapolis, Indiana .
Overview
The NAFSC Accounting Professional position will involve interaction with various accounting and business departments and will include providing any business-related accounting items to various teams.
Responsibilities
- Complete tasks to provide accounting details / documents for AP, AR, GL or cash items to the Defense finance teams / buyer as requested.
- Complete coordination efforts on data required by M&A group.
- Complete other ad hoc requirements such as completing reconciliations, reviewing journal entries etc. as laid out by management.

Remote hybrid schedule - 8am-5pm Monday-Friday / Thursday & Friday in office
