Responsibilities

• A Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic is a temporary position intended to provide training and education in research.
• Individuals will train in the multiple sclerosis research program under principal investigator Eoin P. Flanagan, M.B., B.Ch.
• Qualified individuals will demonstrate the potential for research as evidenced by their training and peer-reviewed publications and should become competitive for national research grants.
• Upon background check and CCATS Executive Committee approval, Research Fellow may have patient / research subject contact directly relating to and incidental to the original research program.
• About CMSAN : The CMSAN vision is to accelerate translational discovery and usher in a new era of “cure and precure” by leveraging the center’s biorepository and Mayo’s Precure initiative to identify at-risk individuals before symptoms appear, enabling earlier interventions such as biomarker-guided treatments and vaccine trials.
• CMSAN priorities include expanding decentralized, multi-site clinical trials across Mayo Clinic, advancing innovative therapies, strengthening partnerships with industry and advocacy groups, deepening collaborations across campuses and globally, building an AI-driven data infrastructure, and recruiting and mentoring the next generation of clinician-scientists.
