As a Full-Time Production Associate - Level 1 at Steele Rubber Products, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of hands-on tasks crucial to our manufacturing process. You will start by utilizing job sheets to select raw materials, ensuring efficiency in production. Your role will include loading and unloading molds while operating a rubber press, as well as drilling and inserting clips. Attention to detail is paramount, as you'll be tasked with trimming and finishing parts to meet our quality standards. Additionally, you will perform quality checks and accurately record production data to maintain our commitment to excellence.

Adhering to safety protocols and wearing the proper PPE will be essential as you contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

What we're looking for in a Production Associate - Level 1

To excel as a Full-Time Production Associate - Level 1 at Steele Rubber Products, certain skills and competencies are essential. We require you to have a high school diploma or equivalent. A strong attention to detail is crucial for maintaining our quality standards and ensuring precision in every task. Effective teamwork is vital, as you will collaborate with peers to achieve production goals.

Proficiency with basic tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, and scales is necessary for the role, alongside a solid understanding of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and measurements related to weight and volume. Additionally, the ability to follow written, oral, and diagrammatic instructions will enable you to navigate tasks efficiently. The job requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of 6–8 hours daily. Finally, a high school diploma or equivalent is required to ensure a foundational understanding for success in this position.
