Job description

Essential Functions (Duties include but are not limited to) :

  • Prepare and cook all breakfast items, including omelets, eggs, meats, pancakes, French toast, and buffet dishes per hotel standards
  • Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet so it is fully stocked, clean, and guest-ready throughout service hours
  • Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and service area, meeting or exceeding Federal, State, and Local requirements
  • Ensure that all food items are properly handled, and stored at the end of the shift
  • Properly rotate inventory (FIRST IN - FIRST OUT)
  • Keep storage areas and workstations organized, clean, and stocked at all times
  • Provide friendly and efficient service when engaging with guests at the omelet station
  • Work with supervisor / manager to prep for the next day's breakfast service and assist with banquet prep if needed
  • Maintain control over food security through regular inventories, proper portioning, safe storage, and accurate production methods

    • Job Requirements :

  • At least 1-2 years of professional cooking experience; breakfast or high-volume service is a plus
  • Comfort working a fast-paced line and running an omelet station
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, restaurant servers, managers, and other culinary personnel
  • Ability to follow recipes and menu specifics
  • Ability to reach, bend and frequently lift up-to 45 pounds
  • Must be available for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
