Summary
The Cook does food preparation and serves all meals and snacks to the center children and staff. The Cook is responsible for cleanliness, inventory, and safety of kitchen. This position reports to Director and / or Assistant Director.
Duties
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals.
- Maintain hygiene and safety of kitchen in accordance with state licensing requirements.
- Ensure any allergy to foods are known and prepared according to instructions.
- Prepare a list of needed food and related supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
- Follow all the center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Sanitization of kitchen and dishes
- Any task asked by the Director or Assistant Director.
