Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Registered Nurse – Labor And Delivery / Postpartum located in Glenwood Springs, CO. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to mothers and newborns during and after the childbirth process. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring the health of mothers and babies, administering medications, assisting during labor and delivery, providing postpartum care and education to new mothers, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Nursing skills in Labor and Delivery, and Postpartum care
• Ability to monitor maternal and newborn health and provide appropriate care
• Proficiency in administering medications and handling medical equipment
• Excellent communication skills to educate and support new mothers
• Compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Experience in neonatal care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
