Manager, Project Management (Hybrid)

This role is on the Customer Protection (i.e. Fraud) team within Retail Bank. Customer Protection is a team of about 1,800 Associates who are motivated to 'Make Banking Simple and Safe' by protecting our customers' money. In this role, you will be overseeing complex, dynamic projects that reduce fraud risk or improve customer and / or Associate experience. The ideal candidate will confidently lead large, cross-organization teams to successfully implement innovative solutions with high visibility to senior leaders.
General Responsibilities :
- Lead large, complex projects and programs, organizing the work in a well-managed way that ensures the delivery of key objectives and results.
- Design, develop, and manage project documentation in a dynamic environment, incorporating changes and resolving barriers to successful delivery.
- Exhibit outstanding influencing and communication skills across a broad audience including Technology, Operations, and Enterprise teams.
- Partner closely with and influence project customers and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of projects or programs to deliver strategic and tactical outcomes.
- Accelerate delivery of planning and solution development through displaying a solid understanding of tech, business, and operations.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management focus, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place and deliver outcomes.
- Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments and improvements.
- Display a passion for coaching, guiding, and investing in the development of PMO and project team members.
- Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes.
Location : West Creek 5 (Richmond, VA) or Center 2 (McLean, VA) or 802 Delaware Ave (Wilmington, DE) - this role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree or Military experienceAt least 3 years of Project Management or Program Management experienceAt least 2 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications :
Masters DegreeAt least 5 years of Project Management or Program Management experienceAt least 3 years of experience focusing on improvements to customer experienceAt least 3 years of Financial or Regulatory Industry experiencePMP, Lean, Agile, or SAFe certification
