Aerodyn Engineering is hiring an experienced CMM Programmer / Operator to join our advanced manufacturing team in Indianapolis, IN . In this hands-on role, you’ll program and operate Zeiss CMMs using Calypso , inspecting tight-tolerance aerospace and automotive components. If you're passionate about metrology, thrive in a detail-driven environment, and want to work with cutting-edge equipment — we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) using Calypso software
• Perform in-process and final inspections of machined components with tolerances down to 0.0001"
• Verify machine and probe calibration for measurement accuracy
• Identify defects, generate non-conformance reports , and document results per AS9100 / ISO9001
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to uphold the highest inspection standards
• Create and maintain inspection documentation and clear reporting using Microsoft Office tools
• Recommend process improvements based on inspection trends
