Hospital, one of the busiest Level III Trauma Centers in the country , is seeking a BE / BC orthopedic surgeon in southern WV. Join a very busy practice located across the street from the hospital. The growing demand for orthopedic services within the community is commonly associated with the aging population, recreational and sports-related accidents. Ideal candidate is eager for a high patient volume and a great practice opportunity. Position Details : Employed position General Orthopedics, with an interest in trauma and joints preferred Call is shared at 1 : 3 or better Flexible office schedule Mon Fri OR Block Scheduling Strong referral base with service area of 250,000 J1 visas welcome. Will work with one other employed ORS and PA in the practice and also take trauma call. Very busy level III trauma center, verified by the American College of Surgeons. Would be required to maintain good working relationship with 1 other independent ORS (traumatologist), in-house IM hospitalists and a number of primary care referral sources. The current ORS and PA in the practice are each averaging 50 patients and 20 surgical cases per week.
