What we’re looking for :

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Customer-Facing Digital Experience team, you will be expected to seamlessly integrate into the team with minimal guidance, demonstrating the ability to hit the ground running from day one. You will work with a highly skilled Principal Engineer who will act as your mentor as well as other Senior and non-Senior Engineering peers. You and the team will build a wide-range of beautiful customer experiences across platforms, including but not limited to web, tablet, mobile and in-store kiosks. As this project is greenfield, you’ll have the chance to make foundational decisions that will influence our architecture and development processes for years to come. We’re looking for someone who loves solving big, complex problems, but also knows how to roll up their sleeves and get things moving. You will :

• Develop and Deliver Code : Build and polish front-end application code using modern frameworks like Next.js and React Native. You will be responsible for accurately estimating tasks, bugs, and spikes in your domain.
• Craft Digital Experiences : Design and deliver a wide range of digital experiences within the AWS ecosystem, including web, mobile, tablet, and in-store kiosks. You'll also work to iteratively improve the design, information architecture, and user experience of the entire application.
• Optimize for Performance : Collaborate directly with your Scrum Master and Product Owner to solve complex technical problems, ensuring every solution balances user impact with a sharp focus on speed and performance.
• Ensure Quality : Drive quality by working with peers to define QA test cases and build robust automated tests.
• Manage Execution and Risk : Build productive working relationships across teams, understand project priority and urgency, and effectively escalate blockers or delays. You will also manage risk, change, and uncertainty with the support of your team.
• Provide Technical Leadership : Master and circulate knowledge on emerging technologies, helping the team push boundaries and innovate. You'll also build a solid understanding of inter-team functional dependencies and navigate appropriate communication channels for solving issues.

Location Requirement :

You will need to reside within 50 miles of our Corporate Headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ as this role has the option of hybrid or onsite work.

Pay & Benefits Data (in accordance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)

Minimum Salary : $111,300

Maximum Salary : $161,700

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
