Commercial Operations and Strategic Enablement serves as the bridge between the business and sales organization, ensuring sales growth objectives through resource availability and balance in the US market. The Sales Network Optimization team focuses on minimizing cost to serve while maintaining high customer service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage order fulfillment of exception-based orders from the field sales teams
- Proactively solve backorders from the central Distribution Center in partnership with the field sales team
- Manage warehouse inventory through coordination with the central DC
- Perform in-bound product verification and put away process for inventory products
- Train and follow standard operation and quality procedures
- Perform cycle count and inventory reconciliation activities
- Assist in regular inventory inspections and perform safety and quality audits
- Adhere to training requirements and health and safety regulations
- Wear protective clothing and equipment as required
- Implement schedule, policies, and group guidelines
- Lead projects as required
- Be flexible to other tasks as priorities shift
Qualifications
Education : Minimum High School and / or equivalent degree; Bachelors Degree a plusExperience and Skills : Required : 2-4 years of relevant work experience; Inventory / Warehouse Management Software experience; Experience preferred within distribution, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, customer serviceRequired : Demonstrated initiative, creativity, assertiveness, and proactive communication; MS Office Suite proficiency preferred; Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems; Strong Communication skillsStrong computer skills and ability to utilize specialized software and customized programs to meet business needsFlexibility to work a staggered work schedule covering Monday thru Sunday shiftsWillingness to accommodate changes in the schedule including working in other shifts as per operational needsKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Practices (GxP)Kelly Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
