Responsible for the quality and efficient completion of radiologic procedures for diagnostic interpretationProvide patient education, quality patient care, and meet all regulatory compliance requirementsManage daily operation of the women's health section of radiologySuggest changes in procedures, policies, and quality improvement initiativesCoordinate training and development in breast imaging specialtiesAdhere to all FDA guidelines for the mammography sectionMaintain appropriate records for all accreditation processes and inspectionsMaintain structured reporting system to ensure accurate audit reporting and statistical trackingComplete daily QA and preventative maintenance schedulingDemonstrate advanced knowledge of mammography imaging proceduresPerform all exams based on imaging department protocolsPractice radiation safety adhering to ALARA standardsOperate equipment consistent with manufacturer's recommendationsTroubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate service engineer calls when neededVerify exam orders and identify patients through two means of identificationReview and document patient medical history and obtain required informed consentMaintain accurate patient records in EHR including charging for procedures and suppliesDemonstrate flexibility by assisting in other modalities and adjusting schedules as neededTake call, overtime, or holiday shifts as requiredAssist with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when neededOrder, stock, and maintain supply inventoryGraduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program requiredARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M) requiredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain within 90 daysTwo years prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist requiredCross-training in other modalities including CT, MRI, and DEXA preferredExperience with electronic records including PACS and RIS / HIS preferredMust adhere to organizational attire and dress code policiesMust maintain strict patient confidentiality at all timesFacility :
