Position Overview
The Senior Sales Manager (B2C) is responsible for leading a team of professional in-home replacement sales representatives whose objective is to gain homeowners trust and close sales. Achieve team sales goals by coaching, motivating and developing team members consultative selling techniques. Positively influencing the sales team to minimize errors, protect contribution margin goals and manage rebates to ensure profitability. Encourage team commitment to continually strive for 100% Very Satisfied customers.
The Senior Sales Manager (B2C) primary duty is to develop an effective in-home replacement sales team.
Responsibilities
Achieve team sales goals by coaching and managing sales representatives to overcome objections and reinforce closing techniques during all customer interactions. Ensure underperforming sales reps are following the Pella replacement sales process.
Achieve team profitability goals through building value, managing discounts and controlling error-rates.
Assign opportunities by matching sales consultants skill level to perceived project difficulty and sale potential.
Promote independent decision making while striving for first-time resolution on all customer issues. Respond to escalated customer concerns with sales reps involvement.
Supervise Sales Support Specialist who manages calendars and generates additional leads through various channels and strategies.
Collaborate with Service / Operations teams to ensure complete and successful installations.
Work variable, non-traditional hours to make themselves available for sales reps and customers during evenings and weekends.
Assist General Manager, B2C to recruit, select, onboard, and retain high performing sales consultants.
Assist General Manager, B2C to decide on local marketing efforts, promotions and supervision of marketing agency.
Assist General Manager, B2C in the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
Work with Field Sales Manager, B2C to develop and improve sales rep performance in the field.
Develop and coach assigned Showroom / Inside Sales team members to ensure consistent presentation of Pella products and exceptional customer service.
Effectively utilize CRM to manage the sales team and adopt new technologies to foster sales performance and lead generation.

Bachelors degree from a four year college or university
Five years of related experience and / or training
