Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2200-$2360 Key Job Details – Mammography Technologist in Moab, Utah Job Title : Mammography Technologist (Rad Tech) – Travel Assignment Location : Moab, Utah 84532 – Close to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks Assignment Type : Travel healthcare job Facility Setting : Hospital Radiology Department Start Date : September 22, 2025 End Date : December 22, 2025 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Hours : 36 guaranteed hours per week Shift : 12-hour day shifts Qualifications – Mammography Technologist Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration required Valid Mammography license or certification required Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to follow radiology protocols Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to patient care Willingness to relocate to Moab, Utah for the travel assignment Responsibilities – Mammography & DEXA Technologist Operate and maintain mammography and DEXA equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images Position and compress patients' breasts for optimal mammogram imaging Ensure patient comfort and clearly explain radiologic procedures Follow strict radiation safety and infection control protocols Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and perform retakes as needed Maintain accurate patient records and radiology documentation Stay up-to-date with mammography best practices and continuing education Educate patients on breast health and the importance of regular screenings Assist radiologists and physicians during diagnostic procedures Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude in a dynamic healthcare setting Ready to take your Mammography Technologist career to the next level?
