ROLE SUMMARY
The Task Force Chef supports the Culinary Director and Executive Culinary team by assisting with training, implementation of company standards, and hands-on culinary execution across venues. This role plays a key part in opening new restaurants, supporting existing teams, and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation. The ideal candidate is an energetic, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys teaching and mentoring others, and is passionate about culinary excellence and teamwork.
RESPONSIBILTIES :
- Supports the Culinary Director and Corporate Executive Sous with recruiting, onboarding, and training new kitchen staff
- Assists with recipe execution, prep organization, and maintaining company culinary standards
- Works closely with the Corporate Executive Sous to develop BOH training for new restaurant openings
- Works alongside venue Chefs to ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation
- Helps manage food cost and inventory systems under the guidance of the Executive Culinary team
- Collaborate on menu testing, tastings, and rollouts as directed by the Culinary Director and Corporate Executive Sous.
- Assists with and participates in all in venue and offsite catering events
- Ability to support all venue teams during high volume periods, staffing shortages, and events
- Serve as an example for the team and act as a resource for all kitchen staff
- Maintain all recipe books
- Must be able to travel to venues outside of California to work with teams in other cities.
