Security Floor Agent

This position provides security protection to employees, staff, and property through patrol, observation, and reporting procedures.

Compensation : $22.50 at time of hire with increase to $23.00 after 90 days of service.

Shift : 1st shift 6 : 30am - 3 : 00pm / 2nd shift 2 : 30pm - 11 : 00pm.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provide a guest services level of care for employees, clients, and patrons
• Carry out emergency, safety, and security programs and procedures when necessary
• Perform foot and vehicle patrols of property.
• Inspect and report on facilities compliance with safety and security procedures
• Investigate and report on incidents including damage / injury to the facility or employees
• Assure POD compliance on patrols
• Self-motivated, with the ability to accomplish tasks without direct supervision
• Other duties as assigned

Position requires physical ability to patrol and inspect the facility ground and buildings; up to 3 / 4 walking and 1 / 4 siting. Position requires climbing stairs, standing on cement floors, turning, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing and pulling; may be subject to adverse working conditions, dust, grime, noise, fumes, wet floors etc., including weather; may require use of an electric cart; May be exposed to physical confrontations. Subject to adverse weather conditions. A, B, or C shift work as assigned. Must possess the ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds to desk level. Irregular and / or extended hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required; determined by event schedule and / or department need. Requires radio usage of a two-way hand-held radio.
