Tax Senior – Public Accounting

Raleigh, NC | Full-Time | $80,000–$100,000

A respected and growing public accounting firm in Raleigh is seeking a Tax Senior to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a client-facing role and is looking to advance their career in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do :

As a Tax Senior, you'll play a key role in managing tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses. You'll work alongside firm leadership and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional service.

Your responsibilities will include :

Preparing complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts

Conducting in-depth tax research and identifying planning opportunities

Developing strong client relationships through proactive communication and a deep understanding of their needs

Delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services with a focus on accuracy and timeliness

What You Bring :

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA license or active CPA candidate preferred)

A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in public accounting

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication abilities

Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks required; GoSystem experience a plus)

A proactive mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional client service
