Job description

CenterWell Senior Primary Care Centers is seeking a dedicated Family, Internal, or Geriatric Medicine Physician to join our team! You have the opportunity take a quality focused, and hands-on approach, addressing patient needs inside the exam room and look beyond to understand how social determinants of health are impacting health outcomes. We have a unique care model that sets us apart for patients and providers. We are experts in senior-focused primary care with a multidisciplinary approach.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM; no nights, no weekends, no holidays!
  • Dedicated administrative time weekly
  • Patient Care :
  • Lower patient volume with focus on quality and relationships
  • Longer appointment times = more 1 : 1 time with patients
  • Serve as a lead medical expert within the Care Team, actively participating in daily huddles.

Required Qualifications :

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
  • Valid, unrestricted medical license in the state of desired employment (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current, unrestricted DEA license.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience managing a Medicare Advantage patient panel with a solid understanding of best practices in a coordinated care environment.
  • Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.
  • Familiarity with HEDIS quality indicators.

    • Compensation and Benefits :

  • Guaranteed base salary plus bi-annual bonus (20% of base).

  • CME allowance - $3,500 / yr + 40 hours

    • Compensation (base pay + quality bonus) can exceed $300K

    DOE and Location Lucrative Sign-on Bonus (Maryvale & Sun City up to $100K)
