PAY RANGE :

$15.00 - $15.50 Hourly

POSITION SUMMARY :

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Youth Aide works directly with the Youth Director, Site Coordinator, and / or Youth Leader to provide a supportive, safe, caring, enriching, and positive environment that welcomes and respects all individuals, promotes the potential of all youth, and provides a quality experience to both youth and their families. Youth Aides are responsible for complying and adhering to all standards, policies, and procedures set by the YMCA of Honolulu, DOE, and other agencies associated with YMCA Childcare and DOE A+ Afterschool Programs.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE :

Supervising participants and presenting positive role modeling through all interactions with program participants and others associated with the program.
