Radiology Technologist Job Details Location : Columbia, SC (29204) – South Carolina radiology jobs in the state's capital city Healthcare Setting : Acute Care Hospital, Diagnostic Radiology Unit Contract Type : Travel healthcare contract Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 23, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM) Hours per Week : 40 On-call : Minimal, weekend on-call rotation required Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Parking : Free parking lots and garages available Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,750 - $1,790 Radiology Technologist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist or X-Ray Tech Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCQRSA) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) Radiation badge (provided by agency) Experience with c-arm and fluoroscopy equipment preferred Familiarity with EPIC and Sectra PACS charting systems preferred Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic imaging independently Strong teamwork and clinical support skills Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients Operate radiologic equipment including c-arm and fluoroscopy Follow radiation safety protocols and infection prevention standards Prepare and administer contrast media as needed Document procedures and patient information in EPIC and Sectra PACS Participate in minimal on-call and weekend rotations Collaborate with the interdisciplinary radiology team to deliver high-quality patient care Maintain current certifications and complete required compliance modules Apply now to join our healthcare team in Columbia, SC and take the next step in your radiology career!
