Creative Video Producer & Logistics Assistant
Reporting directly to the Chief of Marketing Operations, the Creative Video Producer & Logistics Assistant is responsible for developing engaging multimedia content using both traditional and emerging technologies to support the University’s mission to inspire, educate, and attract new students. This includes, but is not limited to, the creation of video content for the promotion of new courses, blog articles, special projects, and educational materials. The role also involves exploring and integrating new innovations in technology, including AI-generated voices, avatar-based video production, and other digital tools, to enhance storytelling and deliver unique, interactive learning experiences.
In addition to creative production, this position manages inventory and logistical operations across the business, including stock for promotional materials, SBU brands, and the core brand. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory sheets, ensuring shelves are stocked, and coordinating supplies to support ongoing marketing, promotional, and University initiatives. The role also oversees the end-to-end process for student access to course video content, including uploading and managing assets within the University’s video management systems.
This role is based in Honolulu, Hawai’i in the office 5 days per week from 8am-4pm HST.
Video Production & Creative Responsibilities
- Execute general and special video assignments
- General assignments created by weaving stock video clips, imagery, current video footage, and AI-generated content (voices, avatars, animations) to produce compelling videos for blogs, promos, and course highlights.
- Special assignments created using digital video and still cameras, animation, and professional editing software to produce engaging, brand-compliant videos.
- Execute live streaming, video / photography at company activities, and special events.
- Edit content (copy, imagery, video) post-development to ensure consistency and brand alignment.
- Color correct and retouch high-resolution digital images, including video footage, photographs, graphics, and other electronic design elements.
- Collaborate with Marketing Teams and the President to create content for blogs, promos, course highlights, and events.
- Review course syllabi to identify core points and develop compelling video content for new course promotions.
- Develop scripts for promotional videos with support from the Marketing Manager and Editor.
- Work with the Education Team to create animated intro graphics, basic edits, and manage course videos, including organization and structure on Vimeo.
- Understand platform specifications for video content (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Website).
- Manage the end-to-end video production process : pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Manage Quantum University’s YouTube, Vimeo, and REV accounts in coordination with the Marketing Team.
- Create 3D renderings and virtual environments for events or projects using 3D software.
- Ensure approval processes for budgets, talent, video clips, imagery, and voiceovers are followed.
- Maintain and manage Dropbox for Student Services, ensuring all educational programs, documents, and content to be loaded onto student tablets are accurate, organized, and up-to-date.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement action plans to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance efficiency.
- Stay current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and innovative tools for production, including AI-driven video solutions.
- Maintain focus on continuous improvement and provide recommendations to University Management.
- Perform other jobs or special projects as requested by immediate supervisors or University Management.
Inventory & Logistics Responsibilities
Manage inventory and logistical operations for promotional materials, sub-brands brands, and the core brand.Ensure shelves are stocked, inventory sheets are updated accurately, and supplies are available for marketing and university initiatives.Keep detailed monthly expense tracking documents, ensuring all costs are documented and allocated to the correct departmental budgets.Qualifications and Education Requirements
Proven Video Production Experience with relevant QualificationsExcellent project management skills to manage production schedules and deadlines. Provide a portfolio of video / content samples which were produced and edited by you.Excellent attention to detail, & communication skillsExcellent in video editing and graphic animation softwareKnowledge and expertise in A / V and lighting equipmentKnowledge of livestreaming and multi-camera production preferredStrong project management skills : ability to see a project through each phase to completionMust have excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to manage multiple projects, quickly and accurately, meeting deadlines and quality standardsAbility to work independently, under minimal supervisionExperience with holistic medicine or quantum physics–based imagery and a solid understanding of energy and consciousness is required.Seniority Level
