We are in search of an energetic Operations Finance Specialist to join our organization and regional team at the Byron Center / Grand Rapid, MI site. The position reports to the Operations Finance Manager.
Key responsibilities include :
- General Accounting and Daily Reporting Support
- Data entry into lumber production database, data and costing verification
- Limited manual production tracking & reconciliation in Excel
- Accounts payable issuing purchase orders, receiving goods, some invoice coding, AP site flow
- Payroll processing, employee onboarding & limited changes as needed
- Work closely with onsite peer, site Mill Manager, Admin & Finance team to ensure site needs are being met
- Future learning of other NWH peer / site requirements for comprehensive backup abilities
- Answer Operator Phone and direct calls. Sort / distribute mail
- Miscellaneous requests Filing, Insurance certificate maintenance, fixed assets, capital project tracking & more as needed
Requirements :
