We are seeking a skilled painter who is proficient in the use of airless paint sprayers and has a strong understanding of paint mixing ratios. The ideal candidate will be responsible for priming and painting surfaces, preparing materials, and ensuring high-quality finishes. This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, requiring expertise in operating forklifts and overhead cranes, as well as maintaining painting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize airless paint sprayers to apply paint efficiently.
• Mix paint accurately, understanding ratios and chemical properties.
• Prime and paint various surfaces, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and cleaning.
• Monitor dew point and humidity levels to optimize painting conditions.
• Operate within a paint booth and in outdoor environments as required.
• Handle forklifts and overhead cranes for material movement.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools regularly.
• Use a variety of painting tools such as spray guns, rollers, and brushes.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.

Work Environment

Work is scheduled from Monday to Saturday, with a 60-hour workweek. The role requires flexibility to work both indoors and outdoors, adapting to various environmental conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
