Senior Bot Detection Researcher

A company is looking for a Senior Bot Detection Researcher to enhance their bot detection strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the research strategy for detecting sophisticated bots across various layers

Design and run experiments, build research tooling, and validate detection hypotheses

Analyze advanced scrapers and bot operators to develop effective countermeasures

Required Qualifications

Proven experience with sophisticated bots, including building or analyzing scrapers

Deep knowledge in browser fingerprinting, behavioral signal design, and network-level bot detection

Strong reverse engineering skills, particularly in JavaScript deobfuscation

Solid understanding of web security and privacy mechanisms

Ability to translate ambiguous problems into clear experiments and measurable outcomes
