About the Client :

One of our clients is a reputable custom cabinetry and woodworking shop serving homeowners throughout Upstate South Carolina. Known for their dedication to craftsmanship, they specialize in creating high-quality, handcrafted cabinets and built-ins tailored to each client's unique vision.

Position Overview :

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Shop Lead to oversee daily operations within the shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking or trim carpentry and demonstrate leadership skills to guide and support the team in producing exceptional cabinetry.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage daily shop activities to ensure efficient workflow and quality standards

Collaborate with team members to produce custom cabinetry and built-ins

Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment

Train and mentor junior woodworkers and apprentices

Ensure projects meet design specifications and client expectations

Coordinate with management to plan schedules and prioritize tasks

Top Skills & Qualifications :

Proven experience in woodworking, trim carpentry, or cabinetry

Strong leadership and team management abilities

Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Dependable and proactive with a problem-solving mindset

Work Schedule & Benefits :

Full-time position with expected hours of 40-50 per week

On-the-job training and skill development opportunities

Work is performed on-site at the Lyman, SC facility
